![]() Like for example, I quietly told my friend I didn’t want to leave until the green flashlight turned on it was the only one that hadn’t and immediately it turned on □ no one else even noticed because everyone was doing their own things in a room of at least 20 people talking amongst themself at the time! I also experienced doors moving slightly exactly like in the episode so I’m just giving some food for thought, it’s not guaranteed to be fake either (but yes it definitely could be & I agree it’s looking like they’re trying for a spin-off personally I’d be for it so both techniques could get more cameratime separately □□♀️)īut why not if it possibly delivers results? Speaking as someone closer to Satori’s age it’s nice to see new takes & new generations combined with the og. Maybe if they’d release that online or something it would be more believableĪt the Stanley Hotel I was on a ghost tour of course things could be staged, I have no clue, but some of the experiences that happened when tons of people were walking around freely & talking over helped convince me that it would be very difficult to be using audio devices to listen in to guests and trigger things. □īut what if it were true…? They can’t put all the hours of footage to include the quiet moments. But then I guess that would mean Jason might have to return to fixing toilets ect. It's not like there aren't multiple ways they could continue to film and share their footage without the staged shit that comes with a production crew. Wish they had enough character to tell Discovery+ to go fuck themselves and go back to trying to find real evidence. Literally makes me ashamed to openly admit to believing in the Paranormal even though I have actually had my own experiences within homes I've lived in or spent significant amounts of time in. Meaning its all blatantly fake and embarrassing to watch. They're on par with the ridiculous Ghost Adventures and The Dead Files. and then the gimmics within the restaurant in Cali that claimed to have a Lady in Red. Ex: See Brian being let go shortly after the "running spirit" in Eastern State Pen. In fact, they used to catch people trying to fake things on their episodes and called them out. It's so disappointing because Ghost Hunters (T.A.P.S.) USED TO BE the 1 shining light in regards to the Paranormal shows who weren't faking things. I feel like Grant probably walked due to wanting to maintain his integrity and not be willing to fake evidence every damned episode for a paycheck. ![]() ![]() I cannot resolve within myself the part of me that wants to believe some of this stuff, versus the deep down suspicion that this industry is full of some terrible people with no morals.Tb□, ever since the original team split and saw Jason, Steve, and Dave go off without Grant and the rest with "Ghost Nation" and then after they reclaimed the original show's title it has been nothing but absolute nonsense. ![]() I watch paranormal shows and I am seriously more fascinated by the possibility that these people are lying than I am by the actual content or "evidence". You can lie to people about aliens or bigfoot, but the ghost concept in general is very personal for people and I think "heartless" would apply to anyone in this business who is lying. But this has always been one of the things that fascinates me about the paranormal industry in general, that many of these people are probably lying, taking advantage of people who want to believe in an afterlife or that our loved ones might still exist somewhere, these paranormal celebs attend conventions and meet their fans and take their money while looking them in the eye and claiming what they do is real. I know in this specific case it seems even more personal that they are doing this "cold reading" technique and telling people that they are speaking with their family members etc, and that makes it more personal. The funny thing is, I basically feel this way about the entire paranormal community (in the event that many of these people are lying). ![]()
